Jacksonville, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns have made the following transactions in time for the Friday June 19 game against the Mobile BayBears:
RHP Jay Buente has been reassigned to the New Orleans Zephyrs of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League.
RHP Garrett Parcell has been promoted to Jacksonville from the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Class-A Advanced Florida State League. Parcell will wear jersey number 40 and is available out of the bullpen for tonight's game.
RHP Kyle Winters has been placed on the disabled list (right shoulder strain), retroactive to June 17. Winters was the probable starter for tomorrow's game. Tomorrow's Jacksonville starter is still to be determined.
The Suns have 23 active players, one short of the Southern League maximum, with nine players on the disabled list and one player on the temporary inactive list.
