
Kirkland Returns to Mississippi

Pearl, MS - The Atlanta Braves have announced that IF Robert Marcial was reassigned to High-A Myrtle Beach and IF Kody Kirkland was reassigned to AA Mississippi from AAA Gwinnett on Friday.
Marcial appeared in four games for the M-Braves collecting one hit. He did provide a steady glove in the field though.
Kirkland hit .190 through 38 games with the M-Braves earlier in the year before getting the promotion to AAA. While in Gwinnett, Kody hit .289 with two doubles, a homer and two RBI through 13 games.
