Panthers Recall Scott Timmins

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive VP/General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled C Scott Timmins from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). Timmins, 23, has played in 20 National Hockey League games, all with Florida (2010-2013), scoring one goal with 10 PIM. This season, he has played in 60 games with the Rampage recording 22 points (11-11-22) and 56 PIM.

The Hamilton, Ontario native, was drafted by Florida in the sixth round (165th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Florida hosts the Washington Capitals tonight at 7:30 PM and the Ottawa Senators on Sunday at 6 PM. Both games can be seen live on FOX Sports Florida and heard on 560 WQAM.
