Goloubef Recalled By Blue Jackets

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced on Saturday that defenseman Cody Goloubef has recalled on an emergency basis by their NHL affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Goloubef was assigned by Columbus to Springfield on Friday night following his fourth recall of the season by the Blue Jackets on Thursday evening. A third-year pro, Goloubef has one goal in 10 games with the Blue Jackets and has 12 points (5g-7a) in 32 contests with the Falcons in 2012-2013.

A 23-year-old from Oakville, Ontario, Goloubef has accumulated 42 points (12g-30a) in 130 AHL contests and has one goal in 11-career NHL games. He was selected by Columbus in the second round (37th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
