
Panthers Recall Mark Cullen

SAN ANTONIO (November 29, 2011) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that center Mark Cullen has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). In addition, the Rampage have reassigned goaltender Brian Foster to their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Cullen, 33, has recorded 12 points (2-10-12) and 14 PIM in 19 games with the Rampage this season. The center has played in 32 NHL games in his career, registering 16 points (7-9-16) with Chicago (2005-06) and Philadelphia (2006-07). Cullen last played in the NHL on November 9, 2006 against the New York Islanders. Originally signed by the Panthers on July 22, 2010, the Virginia, MN native has also recorded 404 points (145-259-404) in 523 AHL games over his professional career.
Foster, 24, has played in 11 games with the Rampage this season posting a 4-6-0 record with a .888 save percentage. The Pembroke, New Hampshire native appeared in 19 games with Cincinnati last season recording an 11-6-1 record with a .918 save percentage. He was selected by Florida in the fifth round (161 overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rampage will play a home-and-home series this Friday and Saturday against the Oklahoma City Barons. On Friday, the team will travel to Oklahoma City for a matchup against the Barons at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. The Rampage return home on Saturday to host Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
