Abbotsford Heat News Release

Milwaukee, WI - The Abbotsford Heat is back on the road looking to snap a two-game skid that it incurred at home last weekend against the San Antonio Rampage. The Heat face the Milwaukee Admirals, who are suddenly a team with a new identity after their Head Coach Kirk Muller took over the vacant Carolina Hurricanes job in the NHL.

The Heat has been simply sensational on the road this season with 11 wins in 13 games away from the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre, and 18 of a possible 20 points in their last ten road tilts, but the club comes into Milwaukee for the first time this season having suffered some recent struggles. The Heat have scored just one goal in regulation over its past three games, and have been a combined zero-for-15 on the power play over that stretch.

Following their first visit of the season to Milwaukee, the Heat will head to Chicago to face the Wolves on Friday and Sunday, with a game in Rockford squeezed in on Saturday night. The Heat is in the Midwest for eight days before returning to British Columbia.

Puck Drop is slated for 5:00 PM Pacific from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee with the pre-game show starting at 4:45 PM on TheAHL.com. Country 107.1 will join the broadcast at 5:00 PM and carry the remainder of the game action from that point.
