P-Bruins Prepare for Three-Game Weekend

The Providence Bruins enter the week with a 21-16-1-1 record, 44 points, on the season and in fourth place in the Atlantic Division. Providence is seven points behind the third place Hartford Wolf Pack with a game in hand. The P-Bruins started off the week Wednesday falling to the Albany River Rats 3-2, before picking up two straight victories Friday at the Portland Pirates 3-2 in a shootout and Saturday versus the Lowell Lock Monsters in overtime 2-1. The P-Bruins wrapped up the week Sunday in Manchester with a 4-3 defeat. David Lundbohm and Jason MacDonald led the P-Bruins offense this weekend. MacDonald had four goals this weekend including two Friday night versus Portland. Lundbohm had assists on the two goals in Portland and scored in the shootout to send Providence onto victory. Saturday he scored the game-tying goal versus Lowell.

Eric Healey continues to lead the P-Bruins in scoring with 39 points (17g, 22a). He is tied for 17th in the league in scoring and is second in the league in game winning goals with five. Nathan Robinson is second on the team in scoring with 33 points (16g, 17a) even though he has been with the Boston Bruins this past weekend. Rookie Tyler Redenbach remains third on the P-Bruins in scoring with 28 points (11g, 17a). He also leads the team in plus/minus at +11. Ben Guite is fourth on the team in scoring with 26 points (13g, 13a) and leads the P-Bruins in power play goals with seven.

The P-Bruins are back in action at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Friday, January 20 to face the Wolf Pack at 7:05 p.m. The first 4,000 fans will receive FREE Providence Bruins hats courtesy of your Rhode Island Lottery. The P-Bruins then hit the road Saturday, January 21 at Hartford, before returning home to the Dunkin' Donuts Center Sunday, January 22 to face the Springfield Falcons. Tickets for all regular season Providence Bruins games are available online at the Bruins' website, providencebruins.com, at all TicketMaster outlets and the Dunkin' Donuts Center box office.

P-Bruin fans can watch and listen to all games live through the Providence Bruins website providencebruins.com.
