
P-Bruins host Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Providence Bruins will host the Portland Pirates on Friday, November 14 at 7:05 p.m., as they begin their fourth consecutive three-game weekend. The Bruins, who are 2-0-1-0 in their last three games, are tied for third place in the Atlantic Division with their 6-4-3-0 record. They visit the division-leading Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. and the Philadelphia Phantoms on Sunday at 6:05 p.m. All games will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550.
Friday's game will mark the start of the Bruins' Thanksgiving Food Drive. The players' wives and girlfriends will be collecting non-perishable food items in the Dunkin' Donuts Center box office lobby from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All food items collected will be donated to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The food drive will also be in place for the Bruins' games on Friday, November 21 against Hartford, and Wednesday, November 26 against the Springfield Falcons.
