The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled left wing BILL LINDSAY from the Chicago Wolves.

Lindsay shares fourth on the team with five goals and ranks sixth on the club with eight points in 13 games with Chicago this season.

Last year, the Fernie, British Columbia, native split the season between the American Hockey League¹s Hamilton Bulldogs and the National Hockey League¹s Montreal Canadiens. Lindsay recorded two goals, two points and 23 penalty minutes in 19 games with the Canadiens, and notched six goals, 12 assists and 18 points in 28 contests with the Bulldogs.

The 32-year-old forward shared third in the AHL with 10 goals and led the league with two short-handed markers in 23 postseason games with Hamilton, the Calder Cup runner-up.

Overall, Lindsay has registered 83 goals, 141 assists and 224 points in 753 career NHL games with the Quebec Nordiques (1991-1993); Florida Panthers (1993-1999, 2001-02); Calgary Flames (1999-2001); San Jose Sharks (2000-01); and Montreal (2001-2003).
