Moose Re-Assign McVicar to Columbia

The Manitoba Moose announced they have re-assigned goaltender Rob McVicar to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

McVicar has appeared in five games in his rookie season with the Inferno. He's recorded two wins, a loss, and a tie along with a goals against average of 3.70 and a save percentage of .871.

The 21-year old native of Brandon, MB played four seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League, appearing in 147 games and accumulating 81 wins, 49 losses, and nine ties. His career goals against average with Brandon was 2.86 with a career save percentage of .895.

McVicar was the Vancouver Canucks' fifth choice, 151st overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
