
Ovalle powers Snappers to second straight win

Burlington took a 1-0 lead in the third inning. Paul Kelly hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, tying the game 1-1. The Bees grabbed the lead back with one run in the top of the fifth. Eli Tintor doubled home Dwayne White to tie the game at two in the seventh. Beloit scored five times in the eighth. Lis walked with the bases loaded, scoring the first run. Edward Ovalle followed Lis with a grand slam, giving Beloit a 7-2 lead. Danny Vais earned his first win of the season.
The Snappers are now 24-24 on the season; the Bees are 23-24.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers begin a four game series with the Swing of the Quad Cities on Monday, May 29 at Pohlman Field. First pitch is set for 4:00 pm.
