Ouzas Named ECHL Goaltender of the Week

Las Vegas, NV- The ECHL announced today that Las Vegas Wranglers goaltender Michael Ouzas has been named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 28 through April 2.

Ouzas, 25, went 2-1-0 last week with a 2.02 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage.

The Hamilton, ON native made 25 saves in a 5-2 win against Bakersfield on Tuesday and 34 saves in a 2-1 victory at Stockton on Wednesday. Ouzas finished the week making 22 saves in a 3-2 loss to Stockton last Friday.

Ouzas was also named the ECHL Goaltender of the Month for November was named the starting goaltender for the 2011 ECHL All Star Classic's All Star team. He has appeared in 129 ECHL'games with Fresno,'Reading and Las Vegas, earning a 57-59-7 record with five shutouts, a 3.01 goals-against average and a save percentage of .905.

The Las Vegas Wranglers© are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
