
Otters Weekly to Feature USI Alum Taylor Dennis and Outfielder Chris Elder

(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The Evansville Otters are proud to announce that USI alum Taylor Dennis and outfielder Chris Elder will be guests on the Otters Weekly Radio Show on Monday, July 7 at 12 pm CT.
Otters Weekly is hosted by the team's radio announcer Mike Radomski each Monday at The Sports Book Bar and Grill (701 NW Riverside Drive, Evansville IN 47708)
Otters Weekly also airs live on WUEV 91.5 FM and online at WUEV.org .
Evansville went 4-2 this week including a home series win against the Frontier Greys at Bosse Field and then a road series victory at the Joliet Slammers.
Dennis threw a quality start for Evansville on July 3 in an Otters 5-4 win over the Frontier Greys. He allowed just two runs over a season-long 6.0 innings. He also recorded a season-high six strikeouts in the game, his only appearance of the week. Dennis is an Evansville, Indiana native and was on the 2010 Division II National Championship team at USI.
Elder also had an impressive week for the Otters, hitting .316 with four runs scored, two home runs and four runs batted in. He homered on back to back games at Joliet including a go-ahead 11th home run against the Slammers on July 4, then another two-run home run on his birthday the next night.
Fans are encouraged to visit The Sports Book to watch the show live, meet the players and be eligible for free giveaways.
The players will meet with those in attendance, sign autographs and take pictures as well.
Evansville is off on Monday and Tuesday, before beginning a six-game, five-day homestand at Bosse Field on Wednesday. The Otters host the Traverse City Beach Bums in a doubleheader on July 9 sponsored by Carson's Brewery. Both games are scheduled for seven innings. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs at the ballpark too! First pitch is 5:35 pm CDT.
