WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Matt Osterberg threw six scoreless innings and the BlueClaws blanked Winston-Salem 3-0 on Saturday night at Truist Stadium.
Jersey Shore (44-44) has now won back-to-back games after dropping the first three to the Dash (43-42).
Leandro Pineda opened the scoring in the third inning with a solo home run, his seventh of the season, to give the BlueClaws a 1-0 lead.
That remained the score until Jersey Shore tacked on two more runs in the sixth. Gabriel Rincones Jr. singled home Marcus Lee Sang to make it 2-0. Nick Ward added a SAC fly to give the BlueClaws a 3-0 lead.
Osterberg came out after six innings, allowing just four hits and one walk, while adding five strikeouts.
Cam Wynne, Max Kuhns, and Tommy McCollum each threw a scoreless inning in relief.
Lee Sang had two hits in the win.
The teams wrap up their series on Sunday afternoon and the BlueClaws start a 12-game homestand on Tuesday night against Aberdeen.
