Oklahoma City Doubles up El Paso Saturday

The Oklahoma City Dodgers overcame an early deficit to beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 8-4 Saturday night. It was the Dodgers' second straight win after the Chihuahuas won the first three games.

El Paso right fielder Nomar Mazara reached base five times in the loss, going 2-for-2 with two singles and three walks. Mazara scored three of El Paso's four runs. Chihuahuas catcher Brett Sullivan went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and a sacrifice fly.

Oklahoma City hit three home runs Saturday. Matthew Batten and Domingo Leyba both had RBI singles for El Paso. Chihuahuas reliever Ray Kerr pitched a scoreless ninth inning.

Team Records: Oklahoma City (7-4), El Paso (6-5)
