Oklahoma City Comets News Release

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers return home Friday to begin an eight-game homestand and look to add to

their best-ever home start since Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark opened in 1998. The Dodgers are 12-0 in Bricktown and are the lone team in professional baseball still undefeated at home this season.

Gates open at 6 p.m. Friday and the first 2,000 fans to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox will receive an OKC Dodgers hat as part of the team's first giveaway night of the season. Fireworks, presented by TerraScapes, are scheduled to follow the game.

Fans can enjoy Friday's game via a Braum's Friends and Family 4 Pack. This special ticket package includes four tickets to Friday's game, as well as four Braum's combo meal vouchers and four OKC Dodgers hats for as low as $39.99 per package.

Starting at Friday's game, Dodgers fans can donate new or gently used sports equipment and apparel to the TerraScapes "Grow the Game" equipment drive. The drive benefits the local non-profit organization Cleats for Kids, which collects and distributes sports equipment, clothes and shoes to youth in need. TerraScapes "Grow the Game" collection bins will be located at each entry gate of Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for every Dodgers home game through July 9. Each donation made will equal an entry into a chance to win a trip for four to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers play on the road.

Saturday is Girl Scout Night. Group tickets cost $15 and include a limited edition OKC Dodgers hat and patch. Girl Scout troops and leaders in uniform will be invited to participate in an on-field parade to recognize all Scouts in attendance prior to the 7:05 game between the Dodgers and Sky Sox.

Sunday's 2:05 p.m. game falls on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday, featuring pregame player autographs, a mascot meet-and- greet, face painters, inflatables and postgame kids run the bases.

Monday's 11:05 a.m. game against Colorado Springs and Wednesday's 11:05 a.m. game against the Memphis Redbirds are Field Trip Days at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. These popular morning games give students the chance to enjoy one last field trip before the school year ends. An OKC Dodgers game ticket, baseball hat and sack lunch cost $13 per person for groups of 10 or more. In between next week's Field Trip Day games, the Dodgers begin a four-game series against Memphis at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Thursday night's 7:05 p.m. game against Memphis falls on a $2 Thursday, featuring $2 Pepsi products, bottled water and select beer.

Friday, May 11 the Dodgers wrap up the homestand with a 7:05 p.m. game against Memphis, featuring the second INTEGRIS "Home Run for Life" of the season after the third inning. Fireworks will follow the game, presented by True Sky Credit Union. May 11 is also Moore Youth Baseball Association Family Night.

Throughout the eight-game stretch, visit the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark concession stands to enjoy the current homestand specials -- meatloaf sandwich at Burgertopia, corny coney dog at Franx and brownie batter Dippin' Dots.

OKC Dodgers tickets are available through the OKC Dodgers ticket office located on South Mickey Mantle Drive, by phone at (405) 218-2182, or by visiting okcdodgers.com.
