From the Notes

Offense in Bunches: Nashville has allowed 35 runs on 47 hits in the first three games of their four-game series with Colorado Springs. The 35 runs and 47 hits are the most allowed by the Sounds in a four-game series since they yielded 39 runs on 50 hits against the Sky Sox from July 4-6, 2017. Two of the four games in that series were seven-inning affairs.

Don't Get Swept: The Sounds need a win today to avoid being swept for the first time in 2018. The last time Nashville was swept in a four-game series was June 22-25, 2017 at Oklahoma City. The Sounds were swept most recently in a three-game series to Omaha to close out the 2017 home schedule from August 28-30. The scheduled fourth game was canceled.

Road Woes: The Sounds wrap up a brief four-game trip this afternoon before returning home on Friday for eight games. In 14 games away from First Tennessee Park, the Sounds are 4-10 with a 4.51 ERA and hitting .221. The team's slugging percentage is .310 and on-base percentage is .300. At home the team is 8-4 with a 2.81 ERA and hitting .259 with a slugging percentage of .361 and an on-base percentage of .341.
