Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and New Orleans Baby Cakes conclude their five-game series at 7:05 p.m. on a $2 Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers lead the series, 3-1. They have won three straight games, as well as six of their last seven games. Tonight's game will be televised on YurView on Cox (Channel 1333) beginning five minutes before first pitch.

Last Game: Kyle Garlick hit a two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th inning Wednesday night to send the Dodgers to a 6-4 win against New Orleans at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers and Baby Cakes extended into their second extra-inning contest in three games, playing to a 4-4 tie through nine innings. New Orleans loaded the bases in the top of the 10th inning with two outs, but Dodgers reliever Ariel Hernandez struck out Austin Nola to escape the jam and keep the game tied. Kyle Farmer started the bottom of the 10th inning on second and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by Connor Joe before Garlick drilled the game-winning homer to center field. The Baby Cakes took the first lead of the game, 1-0, in the second inning when Cristhian Adames hit a sacrifice fly. It stayed 1-0 until New Orleans scored three runs with two outs in the fifth inning. Magneuris Sierra hit a RBI single and Eric Campbell followed with a two-run double to make it 4-0. The Dodgers tied the game, 4-4, in the fifth inning, scoring four runs as four straight players reached base with two outs. Farmer lined a RBI double into left field. Joe followed with a two-run double to right field, and Garlick tied the game with a RBI knock into center field. Hernandez (2-2) was earned the win after keeping the "Cakes scoreless in the top of the 10th. New Orleans reliever Jose Quijada (2-1) pitched the bottom of the 10th inning and was charged with the loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Logan Bawcom joins the OKC Dodgers from Double-A Tulsa to make his first start with OKC since 2016...Bawcom made 11 starts with Double-A Tulsa this season, going 4-5 with a 4.61 ERA, 35 strikeouts and 17 walks over 54.2 innings...In his most recent start with Tulsa July 14 at Northwest Arkansas, Bawcom picked up the win, allowing two runs and five hits over 5.0 IP. He did not issue a walk and recorded three strikeouts...Bawcom signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers May 16 after making three starts with the independent Sugar Land Skeeters to begin the season...He split the 2017 season between Triple-A El Paso (San Diego) and Triple-A Nashville (Oakland), going a combined 2-5 with a 3.31 ERA over 47 relief appearances...Bawcom made 31 appearances (12 starts) for OKC during the 2016 season. He posted a 6-5 record and 1.92 ERA over 89.0 IP while holding opponents to a .216 average. In those 12 starts, Bawcom posted a 1.62 ERA with a 4-3 record...The 2018 season marks his third stint in the Dodgers organization. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 17th round in 2010 from UT-Arlington. After being traded to Seattle during the 2012 season, he was acquired by the Dodgers from Seattle in the Triple-A portion of the Rule 5 Draft in December 2015...Tonight is Bawcom's 10th career appearance and second start against New Orleans (1-1, 1.11 ERA). He most recently pitched one inning of scoreless and hitless relief and was credited with the win against New Orleans Sept. 3, 2017 while with Nashville.

Against the Baby Cakes: 2018: 9-6 2017: 6-9 All-time: 178-153 At OKC: 95-71 Tonight is the final meeting of the season between the Dodgers and Baby Cakes. With last night's victory, the Dodgers clinched a win in the season series for the fourth time in the last five seasons...The teams recently met for their last series at The Shrine on Airline, June 29-July 3, with New Orleans winning the series, 3-2, and the Dodgers winning the final game of the set, 4-0...During the first series April 13-16 in OKC, the Dodgers swept the series, 4-0, and outscored the Baby Cakes, 29-18, and outhit New Orleans, 56-32, while closing the series with three straight walk-off wins...New Orleans won the 2017 series, 9-6, marking their first season series win against OKC since 2011 and just their second against OKC since 2006...During the 2018 season series between these teams, the home team is 11-4 so far. Four of the Dodgers' six home wins have been in walk-off fashion...Henry Ramos has batted .420 (21x50), with four homers, eight extra-base hits and 18 RBI.

Walk on the Wild Side: Wednesday marked the Dodgers' fifth walk-off victory of the season, but first since April 16. Four of the team's five walk-off wins have come at the expense of the Baby Cakes...Kyle Garlick hit the team's second walk-off homer of the season, joining Alex Verdugo, who belted a three-run homer in the 10th inning April 15 to sink New Orleans, 8-6...Yesterday was the team's 13th last at-bat win of 2018 as well as the second-largest come-from-behind victory of the season after falling behind, 4-0.

Teach Me How to Dugie: Alex Verdugo had Wednesday off, but hit safely in both games of Tuesday's doubleheader. He's currently on an 11-game hitting streak, going 18-for-40 (.450) with five multi-hit outings, two homers and six runs scored. He has 34 hits over his last 24 games...Verdugo paces the Dodgers with 86 hits in 63 games, and his .350 season batting average is tied for tops in the PCL with Salt Lake's David Fletcher, who is currently with the Los Angeles Angels...Verdugo has eight homers this season after hitting six homers in 117 games last season with the team. Five of his homers have come against New Orleans.

Getting Offensive: The Dodgers scored six runs last night and have scored at least five runs in eight of their last 10 games, including four games with seven or more runs scored. The Dodgers have batted .308 (108x351) during the 10-game stretch and scored 61 runs with 13 HR.

Along the RÃ-os Grande: Over his last 13 games, Edwin RÃ-os is batting .378 (17x45) with six multi-hit outings, nine runs scored and 12 RBI...RÃ-os currently paces the Dodgers with 12 RBI and 10 runs scored in July. His 17 hits this month are tied for second-most among Dodgers players...After missing close to two months at the start of the season due to injury, RÃ-os is slashing .311/.367/.466 over 45 games and he has picked up 17 multi-hit games.

Mound Turnaround?: Over the last five games, the Dodgers have posted a 2.20 ERA (11 ER/45.0 IP) and .209 BAA (33x158), including 8-for-48 with RISP. The team has not allowed a homer in a season-best five straight games...Prior to Sunday, the pitching staff had a 5.83 ERA and 1.72 WHIP, with opponents batting .313 over the previous 23 games.

Farm Fresh: Kyle Farmer picked up his fourth multi-hit outing in five games last night by going 2-for-5 with a RBI double. Over the five-game stretch he is 10-for-22 with five doubles, five RBI and four runs scored...Nine of his team-leading 18 hits this month have gone for extra bases.

Welcome Back: Since returning from the Disabled List last week, both Tim Locastro and Donovan Solano have had noticeable impacts. Solano is 8-for-18 with a pair of games with three-plus hits. Locastro has hit safely in all six games he's played in, going 8-for-24 with seven runs.
