SALT LAKE CITY -The Salt Lake Bees won their third straight game with a 11-5 victory over the Las Vegas 51s Wednesday night at Smith's Ballpark.

Salt Lake got off to another hot start against Las Vegas by scoring six runs in the second. The Bees collected double-digit hits for the fourth-straight game as four Bees registered multiple hits. Luis Rengifo continued to introduce himself to Triple-A ball in a strong way, hitting his first home run at the level in the fourth inning. He also hit a triple and scored three runs in a strong outing. Eric Young Jr. also put together another solid game going 4-for-5 with a pair of RBIs. Three games into the four-game series Young Jr. is hitting .636 (7-for-11).

Starter Luis Pena picked up the win after five innings of work. He allowed six hits and three earned runs while striking out five. Angels rehabbing reliever Jim Johnson posted a scoreless inning for the Bees bullpen as Salt Lake relievers combined to allow just two runs in the final four frames. Salt Lake has won six of seven games since the Triple-A All-Star break.

The Bees will look for the sweep in the final game of the series on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. at Smith's Ballpark. The stadium will come alive with the magic of Wizard Night featuring all sorts of magic-related fun. Tickets are available at slbees.com.
