Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers close out their four-game road series, as well as the season series, against the New Orleans Zephyrs at 7 p.m. at Zephyr Field, trying for a series sweep and a fifth straight win overall. The Dodgers lead the current series, 3-0, and have an 11-4 advantage in the season series.

Last Game: The Dodgers followed a familiar formula Thursday night, pairing key two-out hits with another tremendous effort by the pitching staff to edge New Orleans, 2-1, at Zephyr Field. Dodgers starting pitcher Zach Lee cruised through six innings before running into trouble in the seventh. He picked up his team-leading ninth win, allowing one run and four hits over 6.1 innings. Lee (9-4) notched six strikeouts and issued four walks. The game remained scoreless until the sixth inning. With a runner at third and two outs, Scott Schebler broke the stalemate when he roped a RBI triple to right field. Darnell Sweeney added to the lead with two outs in the seventh inning when he hit the first pitch out of the park for his ninth home run of the season. The Zephyrs rallied in the seventh. Three straight batters reached base to load the bases with one out, when Lee gave way to Chin-Hui Tsao on the mound. Tsao struck out Donovan Solano to get the second out, then walked home a run when he faced Kila Ka'aihue. Juan Gonzalez picked up his eighth save for OKC. Roff, Okla., product Blake Logan (0-2) was charged with one run and four hits over 5.2 innings and took the loss for the Zephyrs.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Brandon Beachy (1-1) looks to build off a phenomenal outing in his last start...On Saturday against Colorado Springs, Beachy held the Sky Sox scoreless and to one hit over a season-high 7.0 innings, with one walk and a season-high seven strikeouts. Beachy had just one runner reach scoring position and left the game with a 2-0 lead, but the Sky Sox rallied for a 3-2 win, resulting in a no decision...In seven starts with OKC, Beachy is holding left-handed batters to a .195 clip. He's been great at limiting the opposition with two outs, allowing a .095 average with runners on base when there are two down...His tenure with OKC began with four starts during a MLB Rehab Assignment, coming off the second Tommy John surgery of his career. He was officially reinstated from the 60-day disabled list (Tommy John surgery) on July 11 and went 0-1 with a 7.88 ERA, allowing seven runs and 10 hits over 8.0 innings with the L.A. Dodgers...He previously pitched against New Orleans on Aug. 3 in OKC. He allowed six runs (five earned) and nine hits over 6.0 innings, with one walk and three strikeouts in a no decision.

Against the Zephyrs: 2015: 11-4 2014: 9-7 All-time: 152-131 In NEW: 71-70

Tonight the Dodgers will aim for their 12th win against the Zephyrs, which would tie the most victories OKC has accumulated in one season vs. New Orleans (1999)...OKC has won nine of the last 10 meetings, including five straight in New Orleans...The Dodgers won four of five games during the teams' most recent series Aug. 1-4 in OKC. Dayton, C. Hatcher, and K. Jensen; NEW - C. Reed, P. Urckfitz, and A. Wates).

Streaking Through the Quad: Over the Dodgers' last 18 games, they have lost four straight, won five straight, lost five straight, and now won four straight. Tonight they'll seek their fifth winning streak of at least five games...After defeating Omaha on July 20, the Dodgers were 60-33 and 27 games above .500 for the first time ever in team history. Since then they've gone 11-14...Second-place Iowa (6.0 GB) lost Thursday, but third-place Omaha (6.5 GB) won. The Dodgers' largest division lead was 11 games entering play on July 4, but they have gone 19-20 since. However, the Dodgers have added three games to their first-place lead since Aug. 1...The Dodgers pace the PCL with 71 wins and are one of three teams in the Minors with at least 71 wins.

Road Warriors: The Dodgers have won four straight road games and can tie their season-best road winning streak tonight with another victory (May 22-26 in Las Vegas/Salt Lake). They're 39-22 away from OKC this season, and a win tonight would tie the team record for most road wins, set in 2004...OKC is 12-4 in New Orleans over the last 16 games at Zephyr Field.

Money on the Mound: Over the last four games, the Dodgers pitching staff has surrendered just four runs and has held their opponent scoreless in 33 of 36 innings. It's the first time they've allowed two or fewer runs in four straight games since April 16-20, although that stretch included a rain-shortened game and a seven-inning game as part of a doubleheader. OKC has not had five straight games in which the team allowed two or fewer runs since June 21-26, 2009 (vs. Nashville (1)/Round Rock (4) in OKC). Opponents are batting .182 (23x126) with five extra-base hits (all doubles) and have gone 3-for-22 (.136) with runners in scoring position.

Triple Threat: Scott Schebler hit his team-leading ninth triple of the season Thursday - a total that ranks second in the PCL behind Iowa's Arismendy Alcantara (10). He's just the second different player in OKC RedHawks/Dodgers history to notch at least nine triples in one season. Joaquin Arias owns the single-season record with 10 triples, set in 2006. (Arias also had nine in 2008.)

Little Big Seag: So far in August, Corey Seager has collected a team-leading 17 hits through 13 games with eight RBI. He has hit safely in 10 of 13 games, batting .354 (17x48) with six runs scored. He went 0-for-2 Thursday with two walks, boosting his OBP this month to .407. It's just the second time in 84 games with OKC he's drawn two walks, and the first time since June 4 vs. Sacramento.

Outhit and Outshine: The Dodgers have outhit their opponent in five straight games for the first time this season...The Dodgers are 41-5 (.891) when outhitting their opponent this season.

Random Facts & Figures: Last night was the first time the Dodgers played a game that was scoreless through five innings since May 29 vs. Fresno...When entering the final game of a series with a chance for a sweep, the Dodgers are 2-5, including 1-3 on the road.
