Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers wrap up their six-game road series against the Albuquerque Isotopes with a matinee at 2:35 p.m. CT at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park as they seek a second consecutive win...At 14-6, the Dodgers have tied their season-high mark for games above .500...The Dodgers own the best record in the Pacific Coast League and are tied for the second-most wins in all of Triple-A. With a win today, the Dodgers would improve to 4-0 through their first four series of the season.
Last Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers used some stellar pitching and a clutch hit to propel them to a 3-2 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes Saturday night at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. The Dodgers got out to an early lead with two-out RBI singles by Ryan Ward and Yonny Hernández in the first inning. Starting pitcher Gavin Stone tossed 4.2 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven to keep the 2-0 lead intact. With Stone out of the game, the Isotopes pulled even in the sixth with an RBI triple and a sacrifice fly. OKC responded immediately in the seventh when Devin Mann ripped a two-out RBI double. The Dodgers bullpen retired eight of 10 batters after taking the lead, as the Isotopes never put the tying run in scoring position.
Today's Probable Pitcher: Matt Andriese (0-2) makes his fifth start of the season and second of the series in Albuquerque...Andriese pitched in Tuesday night's series opener and was charged with the loss, allowing 11 runs (10 earned) and 11 hits, including four home runs, in 3.2 innings. He had five K's and two walks. The 11 runs allowed were a career-high mark while the 11 hits and four homers both tied career highs. He had allowed just one home run over his first three starts this season combined...April 12 in OKC against Sugar Land, he allowed four runs (two earned) and seven hits in a season-high 5.0 innings and became the first OKC pitcher to work into the sixth inning this season. He recorded six strikeouts against one walk and was charged with the loss in OKC's 7-3 defeat...Andriese is in his 13th professional season and first in the Dodgers organization. He signed with the Dodgers Jan. 30 after spending the 2022 season with the Yomiuri Giants of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball, going 5-2 with a 2.86 ERA over 15 games. He notched 56 strikeouts against 14 walks across 63.0 innings...In 2021, he made the Opening Day roster for the Boston Red Sox and went on to make 26 relief appearances, going 2-3 with one save and posting a 6.03 ERA before being designated for assignment Aug. 17. He quickly signed with Seattle Aug. 22 and made eight relief appearances with the Mariners, posting a 2.45 ERA with 12 K's...Andriese was selected in the third round of the 2011 MLB Draft by San Diego from UC Riverside and he made his ML debut with Tampa Bay April 10, 2015 at the Marlins. He's made a total of 217 appearances in the Majors with five different teams throughout his career...Tonight is his second career appearance against Albuquerque.

The Dodgers and Isotopes are meeting for their first of four series during the 2023 season, but this is the only series between the teams during the first half. The teams will then play 18 games throughout the second half of the season...The Dodgers won the 2022 series between the teams, 12-6, and went, 4-2, in Albuquerque, including winning the final four meetings of the season against the Isotopes Sept. 15-18, 2022 at Rio Grande Credit Union Field...Last season, the Dodgers outscored the Isotopes, 128-87, and hit 28 homers compared to Albuquerque's 19...Pitcher Ryan Pepiot posted a 1.04 ERA in four starts and racked up 22 strikeouts, allowing two runs and nine hits over 17.1 innings...Zach McKinstry led OKC with 19 hits, while Ryan Noda and Andy Burns had 13 RBI each and Noda hit six homers...Six of the 18 games played between the teams in 2022 were decided by one run...The Dodgers have not lost a season series to Albuquerque since 2017, going a combined 6-0 against the Isotopes in 2018 and 2019, 9-9 in 2021 and 12-6 last season...Friday night snapped a streak of six straight games at Isotopes Park the Dodgers scored at least eight runs (68 runs total), including five games with 10-plus runs...The Dodgers have won seven of the last nine games played at the venue...Since 2015, seven of Albuquerque's 16 home wins against the Dodgers have been in walk-off fashion, including Friday.
Strong Start: The 14-6 Dodgers are one of five OKC teams during the Bricktown era (since 1998) to start a season with six losses or less through 20 games. Only the 2018 (16-4), 2015 (15-5) and 2008 (15-5) teams had fewer losses through 20 games, while the 1999 team also started 14-6...The Dodgers own the best record in the Pacific Coast League and their 14 wins are tied for second-most in Triple-A, trailing only Memphis' 15 wins, as the Redbirds are riding a 12-game win streak...OKC's current hot start included a six-game winning streak April 1-7, which was the first six-game winning streak for OKC at any point of a season since a six-game streak July 18-24, 2019...The Dodgers won their first road series of the season in Las Vegas, 5-1. It marked the fifth time out of 45 six-games series since the start of the 2021 season that the Dodgers have won five of six games during the same set...Only four OKC teams through the last 24 seasons have had six or fewer losses through 21 games as the 2018 team started 17-4, while the 2015 team went 16-5 and the 2008 and 1999 teams started 15-6.
Down to the Wire: Saturday was the eighth one-run game for the Dodgers this season and second straight, as they improved to 7-1 in those tight games. They had dropped their first one-run game of the season Friday night when the Isotopes won via a walk-off homer leading off the bottom of the ninth inning The Dodgers escaped Isotopes Park with two-run wins both Wednesday and Thursday, with the game ending during a plate appearance with the bases loaded each time...Eleven of the Dodgers' first 20 games of the season have been decided by two runs or less and Saturday was the 10th OKC victory of the season by one or two runs. Only four of the Dodgers' first 14 wins have been by margins of three of more runs. Six of the Dodgers' first eight victories of 2023 came via one-run margins and five of those wins were secured during OKC's last at-bat.
What a Mighty Good Mann: After starting the season with five hits through his first 11 games and after being held 0-for-10 in his previous three games, Devin Mann has now hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-23 with seven doubles. He went 2-for-4 Saturday night with two doubles, including the go-ahead and eventual game-winning hit in the seventh inning...Mann is now up to 10 doubles this season and is tied with fellow Dodgers farmhand Jorbit Vivas (Double-A Tulsa) for the most doubles in the Minors.
Steadfast: Michael Busch was held without a hit Saturday, going 0-for-3, but he drew a walk and has now reached base in each of OKC's first 20 games of the season. He owns the longest on-base streak in all of the Minors to start 2023. His six-game hitting streak (7x22) came to an end Saturday, but Busch has hit safely in 17 of his first 20 games and has at least one hit in 14 of his last 16 games, batting .333 (20x60) with nine extra-base hits and 10 RBI...Busch is the fourth OKC player in the last three seasons to have an on-base streak of at least 20 games, joining Drew Avans (50 games, 2023), Jason Martin (21 games, 2022) and Sheldon Neuse (20 games, 2021). Busch had a 14-game on-base streak with OKC in 2022 from June 7-23. Going back to the end of last season, he is now on a 26-game on-base streak...His 18 walks are tied for third-most in the PCL, while his seven doubles are tied for fourth and his 25 hits are tied for sixth. He leads OKC in hits and walks.
In the Hunt: Hunter Feduccia was held without a hit or RBI Saturday night but drew a walk and scored a run as he reached base in a 12th straight game and in 31 of his 56 plate appearances this season (.554 OBP). Entering Saturday, he had recorded at least four RBI in each of his previous three games and 13 total RBI during the span. The stretch started Tuesday when he went 5-for-5 with a double and a home run for his first career five-hit game and the first five-hit effort by an OKC player this season. He also matched his career high with five RBI...Through his four games of the current series in Albuquerque, Feduccia is 10-for-18 with two home runs, three doubles and 13 RBI. He has reached base in 12 of 20 plate appearances, including in each of his first eight...His 13 RBI during the three-game stretch Tuesday-Thursday were a career-high during a three-game span and his six multi-RBI games so far this season pace the Dodgers. Prior to Tuesday, he had recorded a total of three games with four-plus RBI in his career (284 games)...Feduccia's 13 RBI were the most in a three-game span for an OKC player since Luke Raley's 14 RBI in three games May 28-30, 2021 at El Paso...Feduccia leads the Dodgers with 21 RBI and is tied for the team lead with four home runs. With the recent surge, Feduccia leads the PCL in OPS (1.329) and SLG (.775), while ranking second in OBP and fourth in RBI.
Down to Earth: After piling up 33 runs and 41 hits through the first three games of the current series, the Dodgers have been held to three runs each of the last two nights to go along with 15 total hits. OKC has scored three or fewer runs in back-to-back games for the first time this season and Saturday marked the Dodgers' first victory of 2023 when scoring fewer than four runs. Prior to last night, the Dodgers had been held to three runs or less in four of their last five losses...On the other hand, the Dodgers limited the Isotopes to two runs, marking the fourth time this season they have kept an opponent to two runs or less. Albuquerque started the series batting .322 (37x115) with 32 runs over the first three games of the series but the OKC pitching staff has kept the Isotopes to a .200 clip (13x65) with six runs between the last two games. Last night marked the first time this season the Dodgers held their opponent scoreless through the game's first four innings.
Hot Streak: Drew Avans has reached base safely in 14 straight games for the second-longest on-base streak by an OKC player this season, trailing only Michael Busch's current 20-game streak, and has a .431 OBP during the stretch...Avans is in the midst of his third on-base streak of at least 14 games in the last two seasons. In 2022, Avans reached base in 14 straight games May 21-June 9 before putting together a 50-game on-base streak June 11-Aug. 14 that ended when he had to depart a game in the fourth inning with an injury. The 50-game streak tied for the second-longest streak in the Minors in 2022 and was one game shy of the longest. It was also the team's longest on-base streak during OKC's MLBAM era (since 2005) and the longest streak in the PCL overall since 2018...Avans' 20 runs scored lead the Dodgers this season and rank tied for third in the PCL. He also has seven walks in the last four games.
Around the Horn: For the second time in the last 15 games and just the third time this season overall, the Dodgers did not allow a home run Saturday. OKC had given up at least one homer in 13 of the previous 14 games (27 HR) and at least two home runs in eight of the last 13 games (26 HR) entering last night's game. OKC's 35 homers allowed this season are most in the PCL and second-most in the Minors. Yesterday was the third time this season neither the Dodgers nor their opponent left the yard....The Dodgers have scored two-plus runs in the first inning in four of five games this series for a total of 11 runs. They had scored four runs in the first inning in their first 15 games combined...Wander Suero recorded his PCL-leading fourth save of the season last night - equaling his save total from the last five seasons combined. He recorded a career-high 20 saves in 2017.
