OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Blue fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors, 111-98, on Saturday at the Cox Convention Center, ending a six game home winning streak.
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Josh Huestis scored 15 points with three rebounds and three blocks in 33 minutes. Fellow Thunder assignment Mitch McGary tallied eight points, 11 rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes.
Dwight Buycks led all scorers with 27 points on 12-of-20 shooting while adding four rebounds and four assists. Talib Zanna totaled 10 points and 12 rebounds and JP Tokoto finished with 10 points.
The Blue opened the night with a 12-5 run and led 30-25 after the first period. The Warriors outscored Oklahoma City by six over the next two quarters to take a 76-75 advantage into the fourth. Santa Cruz was propelled by a 10-0 run in the heart of the final frame to split the weekend series with the Blue.
Oklahoma City (14-25) pulled down 51 rebounds - including 19 on the offensive end.
Santa Cruz (15-25) was led by Verdell Jones with 25 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
The Blue heads to Texas for a one-game trip, facing the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. For more information, visit OklahomaCityBlue.com.
