Ryan Gomes nearly notched a triple-double with 28 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, while Jeff Ayres (16 points, 10 rebounds), Jabari Brown (15 points), Andre Ingram (14 points) and Josh Magette (11 points, 14 assists) all scored in double-figures for Los Angeles.

Los Angeles started hot, shooting 60.9% from the field in the first quarter, outscoring Texas 36-25 behind 10 points from Blue. The D-Fenders outscored the Legends 34-29 in the second quarter behind nine points from Gomes, to take a 70-54 lead into the halftime break. Blue had 17 points at the half, while Gomes had 15. Douglas-Roberts led the Legends with 11.
Texas fought back in the third quarter, outscoring Los Angeles 34-29 behind 13 points from Miller, while Blue had 12 in the quarter for the D-Fenders. After three, Los Angeles led 99-88. A tight fourth quarter kept this one close down the stretch, as the Legends outscored the D-Fenders 29-28, but strong play from Ingram and Magette locked up the victory for Los Angeles.
The D-Fenders shot .495 from the field, compared to .529 for the Legends. Los Angeles edged Texas in rebounds (49-35) and second chance points (24-9), connecting on 28-of-32 free throws as a team. The 14-game home winning streak is a new franchise record, surpassing the previous mark held by the 2011-12 D-Fenders team that won 13 in a row at home.
Los Angeles heads to Santa Cruz next Friday to face the Warriors at 7:00pm PT.
