Iowa Energy Acquire Former NBA Player D.J. Stephens

Des Moines, Iowa. - The Iowa Energy have acquired forward D.J. Stephens from the Canton Charge, the team announced today. In exchange, the Energy will trade a 2016 fifth round draft pick acquired from a previous trade with Los Angeles to Canton.
Stephens (6-5, 188) has posted averages of 8.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 19.8 minutes in 27 games (21 starts) for the Charge this season. Stephens went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft out of the University of Memphis and appeared in three NBA games during the 2013-14 season for the Milwaukee Bucks posting 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 4.9 minutes.
