Oilers Recall Winger Zack Kassian from Bakersfield

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that RW Zack Kassian has been recalled by the Edmonton Oilers. Bakersfield is home Friday night for No-Snow Globe Giveaway at 7 p.m. against Texas.

KASSIAN - (6'3", 214 lbs. Windsor, Ontario, 24 years old)

Had one point, a goal, in four games with Bakersfield and six penalty minutes

Acquired by Edmonton from Montreal on Dec. 28

Has played in 198 NHL games since being drafted 13th overall by Buffalo in 2009

The first 2,000 fans, 5 and older, will receive a Condors No-Snow Globe presented by Comedy 800 AM

With the fact that it does not snow in Bakersfield and with the drought, we decided to just leave the water out

The globes rest on a hockey puck base and feature two Condors players inside playing on the rough and dry ground of Condorstown
