Oilers Get Kuzyk From Colorado

The Tulsa Oilers have acquired forward Cam Kuzyk from the Colorado Eagles for future considerations, it was announced today.

Kuzyk, 24, a rookie out of St. Albert, Alberta, played in 22 games for Colorado this season, scoring 10 points (3G, 7A) with 37 penalty minutes and a +4 rating.

Before going to Colorado this year, Kuzyk played college hockey for five years the University of Alberta. In 102 games there, he scored 13 goals and 39 assists for 52 points and added 82 penalty minutes.

Kuzyk, along with Chris Page, who the Oilers acquired earlier in the day, will not suit up for tonight's game in Colorado, but will be in lineup tomorrow night in Amarillo.

The Oilers return to home ice on Friday, January 30th, hosting the Memphis RiverKings. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Oilers ticket office, at Carson Attractions, in the Tulsa Convention Center, plus the Drug Mart locations in Tulsa, Owasso, and Broken Arrow.
