SETTING THE STAGE: Tonight's game at the Fort Worth Convention Center will be the third of five meetings this season between the Brahmas and the Saints...This will be the first time this year that they have played in Cowtown...Both of the previous games have been decided by one goal, with San Angelo edging the Brahmas 2-1 on Tuesday, Nov. 11 and the Brahmas coming back to defeat San Angelo 4-3 in overtime on Sunday, Dec. 14...All time, Fort Worth is 6-9-3 against San Angelo, with five of those six wins coming at the FWCC.

FORT WORTH NOTES: With a win tonight, Fort Worth will match their season high for consecutive wins with three...The Brahmas are coming off a 4-3 win this past Tuesday morning over the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees...In that game, four different Brahmas players scored goals to stake Fort Worth to a 4-1 lead and then the Brahmas held off a late Bees charge...Center Aaron Davis is currently on a Brahmas season high five game point scoring streak; Davis has a team high 8 points (3G/5A) in that stretch...Fort Worth will be without their leading scorer and team captain tonight, as left wing Chad Woollard will serve the first of a two game CHL issued suspension for an elbowing incident this past Saturday, January 10, in Fort Worth's 4-3 loss to Memphis...Defenseman Justin Berry will make his Brahmas debut tonight, as he was signed to a contract earlier this afternoon...To make room for Berry on the roster, blueliner Ivan Curic was placed on waivers.

SAN ANGELO NOTES: The Saints have established themselves as one of the top teams in the CHL this year...San Angelo has the third most wins (22) and points (48) in the entire Southern Conference...They have won three games in a row and seven out of their last ten and are closing quickly on the Amarillo Gorillas for the Southwest Division lead...Offensively, two players pace the Saints, center Chris Minard and forward Ryan Finnerty...Minard, who will start the 2004 Dodge CHL All Star Game, is seventh in the CHL and leads the Saints with 43 points...Finnerty is one of the top all around forwards in the league, as he as 17 goals, 22 assists, and a Saints team high 95 penalty minutes...In net, the Saints have the impressive duo of Scott Reid (2.62 GAA) and Brant Nicklin (2.46 GAA).

NEXT UP FOR THE BRAHMAS: Fort Worth will wrap up their season high eight game homestand tomorrow night, January 17, when they host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center...The game will be Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders night, as the Cheerleaders will perform during both intermissions
