PEARL, MS - The Atlanta Braves have made the following roster moves which affect the Mississippi Braves roster prior to tonight's game against Jacksonville. LHP Jordan Harrison has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett and LHP Justin Kelly has been promoted to Mississippi from the rookie-Danville roster. RHP Matt Withrow has been activated from the Mississippi Injured List and transferred to High-A Florida. OF Tyler Neslony has been activated from Triple-A Gwinnett Injured List and transferred to Mississippi. Also, OF Garrison Schwartz has been transferred to High-A Florida from Mississippi.

Harrison, 28, hasn't given up a run over seven appearances for the M-Braves this season, striking out 10 and walking three over 10.1 innings. Harrison returns to Gwinnett for the second time this season where he is 1-0 with a 13.50 ERA (2 ER/1.1 IP).

The Braves signed the Splendora, Texas native as a minor-league free agent on December 21, 2018.

Kelly, 26, was 1-1 with a 5.93 ERA (9 ER/13.1 IP) over seven appearances for High-A Florida, walking eight and striking out 22. The Bakersfield, California native was transferred to the Danville roster on April 27.

The UC-Santa Barbara product played his first season with Atlanta in 2018 and made 36 appearances between High-A Florida and Double-A Mississippi, combining to go 4-2 with a 3.44 ERA (21 ER/55.0 IP). The Braves acquired Kelly from the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for RHP Jim Johnson and international pool space on November 30, 2017.

Withrow, 25, has been injured since the beginning of 2018. The Odessa, Texas native made 18 appearances and 15 starts over three levels of the Atlanta Braves organization in 2018, going 1-4 with a 3.73 ERA (33 ER/79.2 IP), 31 walks and 70 strikeouts.

The Braves selected Withrow in the sixth round of the 2015 draft out of Texas Tech.

Neslony, 25, suffered a dislocated thumb at the end of spring training and has been on the Triple-A Gwinnett Injured List all season. The Corpus Christi, Texas native spent the entire 2018 season with Mississippi and batted .244 over 125 games, setting career highs in hits (110), doubles (24) and RBI (48). He ranked 10th among Atlanta farmhands in both RBI (48) and stolen bases (tied, 9). Neslony was named a Southern League Mid-Season All-Star, starting as the DH, batting seventh and finishing 0-for-3 with a walk.

The Braves selected Neslony in the ninth-round (259th overall) of the 2016 draft out of Texas Tech.

Schwartz, 23, appeared in 15 games this season for the M-Braves, batting .105 (4-for-38) with five runs, seven walks, and one stolen base. Schwartz hit .232 (91-for-393) over 117 games between Single-A Rome and Florida in 2018 and drew 45 walks, which was tied for fifth among Atlanta farmhands.

The Braves selected Schwartz in the 16th round of the 2017 draft out of Grand Canyon University.

The M-Braves will go for their second win of the series on Thursday night against Jacksonville. LHP Joey Wentz (0-1, 5.82) starts for the M-Braves against LHP McKenzie Mills (1-3, 5.21) for the Jumbo Shrimp. First pitch is set for 6:35 pm with coverage beginning at 6:20 pm on 103.9 WYAB, TuneIn Radio, MiLB First Pitch app. and MiLB.TV (subscription required).
