OF Junior Lake Activated by Iowa, C/IF Taylor Davis Reassigned to Double-A Tennessee

PAPILLION, Neb. (June 17, 2015) - The Chicago Cubs today made a series of moves affecting Iowa's active roster for this afternoon's game at Omaha. C/IF Taylor Davis has been reassigned to Double-A Tennessee, and OF Junior Lake has been activated by Iowa after being optioned to Triple-A by Chicago on Sunday.

Davis, 25, hit .282 (31-for-110) with two home runs, 12 doubles and 10 RBI in 41 games for Iowa this season in his first taste of Triple-A.

Lake, 25, is batting .224 (13-for-58) with four doubles, one home run and five RBI in 21 games with Chicago this season. He is hitting .250 (18-for-72) with three doubles and 11 RBI in 22 games with Iowa.

Lake rejoins Iowa for the third time. He began the season with the I-Cubs before getting recalled April 28. He was optioned May 8, then recalled again on May 19.

With these moves, Iowa's active roster is full at 25 players plus one player on the disabled list.
