Syracuse, NY (February 24, 2004) –The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the ninth annual Crunch At Your Service Dinner, held at the War Memorial at Oncenter on February 23, raised $18,300 for the Crunch Foundation and Children's Hospital at University Hospital.

Crunch players traded in their sticks for aprons as they worked for tips by performing crazy antics. Some antics included Crunch General Manager Vance Lederman singing "Man, I Feel Like a Woman", goaltender Karl Goehring and center Mark Hartigan riding hockey sticks that looked like horses to "Cotton Eyed Joe", right wing Ben Knopp hoola-hooping and defenseman Zenith Komarniski participating in a Limbo contest with two children.

Zenith Komarniski was the top waiter for the evening, raising $307.25. Finishing behind Komarniski was Joe Motzko ($222) and Trent Cull ($210).

Syracuse hosts Toronto on Wednesday, February 25 for a 7:00 pm face-off. On Friday, February 27 the Crunch hosts the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
