P-Bruins reassign three players to ECHL

The Providence Bruins announced today that they have reassigned center Robert Liscak and defensemen Peter Metcalf and Martin Wilde to the Trenton Titans (ECHL). All three will join the team on Wednesday.

Liscak, playing in his first season out of the University of Maine, has four assists in 27 games with the P-Bruins. He also four assists in 12 games with the Augusta Lynx (ECHL) earlier this season. Metcalf, now in his second year in the Bruins' organization, has 2-13-15 totals in 39 games with the Bruins. He also had one goal in four games with Trenton earlier this season. Wilde has one assist in 48 games with Providence.

Tune in tonight to WSKO AM-790, The Score for "Providence Bruins Weekly Presented by National City Mortgage". Show host Adam Alper will have P-Bruins Head Coach Scott Gordon on the show, as well as Bruin center Andre Savage. AHL President David Andrews will also be a special guest. Providence Journal beat writer Joe McDonald will also appear on the program. The show airs from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Black and Gold hits the road for the next three games, beginning on Thursday, February 26, when they visit the Lowell Lock Monsters at 7:05 p.m. They take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m., and the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday afternoon at 4:05 p.m. All three games will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550.

The Bruins return home to host the Hershey Bears on Friday, March 5 at 7:05 p.m. They also host the Portland Pirates that weekend, on Sunday, March 7 at 4:05 p.m.
