
New Method Headlines Faith and Fun Night this Saturday

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 20 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry and proud ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that the band New Method will headline Faith and Fun Night on Saturday, March 9 with a postgame concert following the Stingrays game against the Greenville Road Warriors at 5:00 p.m.
New Method, a Columbus, Ohio-based contemporary Christian band, has performed for pro sports teams in the NBA, NHL, AFL and MLS and was featured in Christianity Today's Sports Spectrum Magazine for their current Faith and Family Night Tour. Compared to bands such as Switchfoot and Relient K, New Method earned a No. 6 ranking on the myCCM Top 100 for 2007 and climbed to No. 3 on the national radio charts with the single "All About the Love" and was a national finalist in the NACAS songwriting competition for "Heart's Desire." In 2010, the band was up for "New Artist of the Year" in the Dove Award balloting.

The Stingrays kick off a three-game home weekend series against the Road Warriors on Friday, March 8 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Grab four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and large popcorn for $55 with the Stingrays Friday Family Four Pack at the Coliseum Box Office!
Faith and Fun Night returns to the Coliseum Saturday, March 9 with a special postgame concert with New Method! Bring your group for a night of faith, fun and fellowship as the Stingrays faceoff against the Road Warriors at 5:00 p.m.
