"Safeway is thrilled with the way our customers, employees and the community banded together in support of the Never Alone campaign," said John Graham, Public Affairs Manager for Canada Safeway.

"For over 75 years Safeway has known how great the people of Winnipeg are, and now with such a phenomenal response for such an important cause, our community can hold its head up even higher in pride.

"A perfect example of the power of people working for good, Safeway is so proud of the success of this campaign and glad to join in the fight to tackle cancer."
