Nedomlel Returns to Walleye

(Toledo, OH) - Defenseman Richard Nedomlel (NEED-oh-mall) has been reassigned by the NHL's Detroit Red Wings to Toledo from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL.

Nedomlel, a native of Prague in the Czech Republic, skated in three games this year with the Griffins and hasn't collected a point. Drafted by the Red Wings in the sixth round of the 2011 Draft, the defenseman scored his first professional goal on October 30 against Cincinnati during a four game stint with Toledo. The 20 year old has spent the last years in the WHL with Swift Current. In 210 games, the 6'4" 225 pound defenseman posted 17 goals, 67 assists and 295 penalty minutes.
