Kraemer Named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, are pleased to announce that forward Kyle Kraemer was named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for his seven-point performance for the week of Nov. 25 - Dec. 1.

Kraemer, 28, recorded seven points (5g, 2a) in four games helping the Reign reach the top of the ECHL standings with a 4-0-0-0 week.

Starting on Wednesday, Kraemer earned an assist in a 3-2 win against Stockton and scored his first Reign goal of the season on Friday when the team traveled to Stockton and brought home a 4-1 win. The St. Louis, MO native registered a goal and two assists with Ontario's 4-3 victory over Colorado Saturday night and netted two more goals against the Eagles on Sunday. He finished the week a +5.

This season Kraemer has appeared in six games and has posted seven points (5g, 2a) bringing his Reign point total to 172 (76g, 96a) in 189 games, maintaining the club record.

Before returning to the Reign in November, Kraemer had a short stint with the Central Hockey League's St. Charles Chill where he earned seven points (4g, 3a) in nine games.

Reign Drops: The Reign will support the San Antonio Community Hospital foundation on Friday, Dec. 6 when they wear their third specialty jersey of the season. Also, the first 5,000 fans will receive a blanket compliments of San Antonio Community Hospital and Promotional Adventures.
