Busy Promotional Week for Steelheads
December 3, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, ID (12/3/13) - The Idaho Steelheads have a busy week of promotions on tap for fans as the Stockton Thunder visit CenturyLink Arena for games on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
The headliner is Saturday's Toys for Tots "Teddy Bear Toss," where fans are encouraged to bring a plush, unbreakable toy to CenturyLink Arena and toss it on the ice when the Steelheads net their first goal. The toys will be collected off the ice and donated to the USMC Toys for Tots campaign. Fans that do not bring toys to the game will have an opportunity to purchase stuffed toys from the Idaho Steelheads Booster Club so they can partake in one of hockey's great promotions.
The complete rundown:
* Wednesday (Dec. 4) is Dollar Beer Night, presented by Bud Light. Small beers are available for just one dollar through the end of the second period.
* Friday (Dec. 6) is Project Filter Trading Card giveaway as fans have a chance to pick up a set of collector trading cards, featuring 20 all-time greats of the Idaho Steelheads like Lance Galbraith, Cal Ingraham and Kael Mouillierat.
* Saturday (Dec. 7), along with the Teddy Bear Toss, also features a full-team, post-game autograph session on the ice as fans are invited to stick around and get an autograph from all their favorite Steelheads players after the game on the CenturyLink Arena ice.
Friday night, as always, is the popular "4-for-46" promotion as fans can secure four tickets along with four Double R Ranch hot dogs and four Pepsi's for just $46. Quantities are limited so fans are encouraged to plan ahead if they'd like to take advantage of this offer.
Fans can also purchase tickets in the KTIK Section (Section 201) for every home game for just $13.50 per seat. Tickets can be purchased online at www.idahosteelheads.com or by calling the CenturyLink Arena box office (208-331-8497).
Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise. Ticket prices are discounted and you can get a Pepsi, Double-R Ranch Hot Dog, and bag of Tim's Cascade Chips with each ticket. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 for more information.
