Nashville SC News Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club continues its Major League Soccer campaign on Wednesday night with a matchup against Inter Miami CF at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for a match that will be the second and final regular season fixture between the two sides this season.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Fans can also listen to the match on 104.5 The Zone and SiriusXM.

The two sides squared off just 10 days ago in an unforgettable Leagues Cup Final at GEODIS Park. After a Lionel Messi opening goal in the first half, Fafà Picault equalized for Nashville SC in the second half with a set piece goal, sending the match to penalties. The result came down to the final penalty attempts by the goalkeepers, with Inter Miami emerging as Leagues Cup champions in a 10-9 shootout.

Since Messi made his Inter Miami debut on July 21, Nashville SC is the only side to hold Miami to one goal or less in regulation time, and one of two clubs to play Inter Miami to a draw in regulation time across all competitions.

Nashville SC's last visit to DRV PNK Stadium came on Sept. 22, 2021, when the Boys in Gold thrashed Miami 5-1 with Hany Mukhtar bagging a brace inside 50 minutes.

Earlier today, Head Coach Gary Smith and forward Sam Surridge addressed the media. Smith spoke about bouncing back from the weekend's defeat at Atlanta United FC, while Surridge spoke about his budding chemistry with Hany Mukhtar. You can watch Smith's availability here and Surridge's here.

Fans who want to watch the match with other Nashville SC fans can do so at one of the club's Pub Partners. Click here for a list of pub partners across the Mid-TN area.
