
Nash named AFL Offensive Player of the Month

Las Vegas, NV, March 25, 2005 â Las Vegas Gladiators' offensive specialist Marcus Nash was named the Arena Football League's Offensive Player of the Month today for the month of May.
In the month of May, Nash (6'4" 220, Tennessee) ranked No. 1 in the League in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. A three-year veteran of the Arena Football League, Nash caught 36 passes for 415 yards with 13 touchdowns in four games in the month of May. He finished the season playing all 16 games and tallied 131 receptions for 1,769 yards and 41 touchdowns despite battling through knee and hamstring injuries all season.
This is the second time in Nash's career he has been named Offensive Player of the Month. The first time came during the 2004 season for his performance during the month of March. At that time, he hauled in 46 passes for 609 yards and 13 touchdowns.
