Arena Football League names All-Ironman Team

May 26, 2005 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release


NEW YORK – The Colorado Crush, who have secured the No. 1 seed in American Conference playoffs, led all AFL teams with three selections to the 2005 U.S. Army All-Ironman team. The Dallas Desperados were the only other team with multiple selections with two. The Chicago Rush, Columbus Destroyers, Los Angeles Avengers, Nashville Kats, New Orleans VooDoo, New York Dragons, Orlando Predators and San Jose SaberCats were each represented with one selection.

Colorado players selected include: FB/LB RICH YOUNG, OL/DL KYLE MOORE-BROWN and WR/DB WILLIS MARSHALL. Dallas players selected include: FB/LB DUKE PETTIJOHN and WR/DB WILL PETTIS.

The U.S. Army Ironman of the Year will be announced on Thursday, June 9. Kicker of the Year will be announced on Monday, May 30. Following is the complete list of the 2005 U.S. Army All-Ironman team:
