Wheeling Nailers News Release

Don't miss the American Heart Association's 2nd Annual National Wear Red Day for Women! National landmarks and hundreds of thousands of Americans will wear red this Friday to support women and fight heart disease. The Wheeling Nailers have teamed up once again this season to help support this fight and put Heart disease in the penalty box. On Friday, February 4th the Nailers will offer a special discount at the box office for all fans wearing red to purchase tickets. Fans who join in on the Wear Red campaign will receive a $1 off box office prices that evening. All other fans are encouraged to WEAR RED to support the American Heart Association's Go Red for women!

Heart disease is the No.1 killer with American women today and the American Heart Association will be on hand at the Nailers game not only to raise money for the cause but to make Americans aware of the seriousness of this disease and how it can be prevented. Wear Red Day is an opportunity for everyone to remember their female friends and family members who have suffered from the disease. It is also a time to think about your own hearts and take charge of your own health.

Join the Wheeling Nailers and the American Heart Association tomorrow night when the Nailers take on San Diego with the puck set to drop at 7:30 p.m. Remember to Wear Red in support of everyone who has suffered from heart disease and to make others aware. Let's put heart disease in the penalty box Wheeling, and WEAR RED in support of the American Heart Association and the Wheeling Nailers.
