Louisiana's MacIver Suspended Two Games

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Thursday that it has suspended Louisiana defenseman Doug MacIver for two games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #550 at Florida on January 29.

At 4:36 of the third period, MacIver was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct under Rule 44(b) – Boarding.

MacIver is suspended two games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

MacIver will miss Louisiana's games at Texas (Feb. 4) and at Columbia (Feb. 11).
