Nailers invite three to camp

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers announce today that they have invited three forwards Noah Katz, Ricky Reznick, and John Burton to training camp.

Katz, 23, started his college career playing for Union College (NCAA Div.I), he played two seasons there before transferring to Concordia College in Minnesota (NCAA Div.III). In two seasons at Concordia, the Columbia, Maryland native appeared in 48 games scoring 10 goals and 9 assists for 19 points.

Reznick appeared in one game for the Nailers last season against the Peoria Rivermen on March 26th. He also appeared in two games for the Rockford Ice Hogs of the United Hockey League. Before playing professionally the 5'11" 187 pound native of Chicago, Illinois played junior hockey for the Traverse City Enforcers in the CEHL, he played in 39 games scoring 9 goals and 16 assists for 25 points.

Burton, 26, was in camp last year for the Nailers and appeared in preseason games before being released. The 6'0" 195 pound native of Waukegan, Illinois played four seasons at the NCAA Division III level with two schools, Lawrence University and St. Michael's College. Burton attended the International Hockey College's free agent camp this summer where he was the third leading scorer with 11 points in three games.
