Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Rockies reliever Jason Motte will join the Isotopes roster today to begin a rehab assignment. A shoulder strain has kept the right-hander out of action for the entire 2016 season.

A seven-year Major League veteran, the 33-year-old has appeared in 368 games in the Big Leagues. Motte has compiled a 3.16 ERA during his time the Majors, saving a career-high 42 games with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2012. The Rockies acquired Motte this past offseason as a free agent.

Isotopes reliever Ryan Arrowood also re-join the club after being activated from the Temporary Inactive List. Arroowood and his wife welcomed their first child into the world over the weekend. Devin Burke has been transferred off the Isotopes roster to make room for Arrowwod.
