D-Backs Affiliation Night Highlights Third Homestand

RENO - The Reno Aces will begin an eight-game, nine-day homestand on Saturday, May 14, when they host the Iowa Cubs - the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs - at 6:35 p.m. at Greater Nevada Field. After a league-wide off-day on Wednesday, May 18, the Aces welcome the Kansas City Royals' highest affiliate, the Omaha Storm Chasers, to town for a four-game set beginning Thursday, May 19.

Highlighting the four-game sets are D-backs Affiliation Night, featuring an appearance by 2001 World Series hero Luis Gonzalez and a postgame fireworks display on May 14, Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday on May 20 and an Archie Bobblebelly Giveaway on May 21.

Saturday, May 14 vs. Iowa - 6:35 p.m.

- Gates open at 5 p.m.

- D-backs Affiliation Night presented by International/Peterbilt Trucks and KOLO 8 News Now

o 2001 World Series hero Luis Gonzalez will sign autographs from 5-5:30 p.m.

o Aces players and coaches will wear theme uniforms to emulate Arizona's look from its 2001 World Championship season and celebrate the Aces' affiliation with the D-backs

o Music and other in-game events to "turn back the clock" to 2001

- Postgame Fireworks Extravaganza
