Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their series against the Round Rock Express at 11:35 a.m. at Dell Diamond. The Dodgers are seeking their sixth win in the last eight games.
Last Game: Zach Lee and three relievers held Round Rock to one run, as the Dodgers took an early lead and never looked back in a 3-1 victory over the Express Tuesday night at Dell Diamond. Lee (5-1) became the first PCL pitcher to record five wins after delivering 6.1 strong innings. He allowed one run and four hits and finished with two walks and four strikeouts. Joe Thatcher, Matt West, and Chin-Hui Tsao kept the Express scoreless and to one hit over the final 2.2 innings. Tsao retired the side in order in the ninth inning to pick up his fourth save. Both teams got on the board in the first inning. The Dodgers took a 2-0 lead in their first at-bat, courtesy of back-to-back RBI singles by Rob Segedin and Jose Tabata. The Express got one run back in the bottom of the inning, when Jared Hoying connected on a solo home run. After Hoying's dinger, OKC limited Round Rock to four hits and only allowed one runner to reach scoring position. The Dodgers extended their lead in the seventh inning when Alex Hassan ripped a RBI single down the third base line to score Rico Noel. Despite a solid start, Express pitcher Michael Roth (2-1) ended up with the loss. The lefty allowed two runs and four hits, with one walk and no strikeouts.
