WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats (13-6) fell to the Motor City Cruise (10-11), 116-111, Wednesday night at Chase Fieldhouse.
Seven Blue Coats scored in double figures, led by Braxton Key's 18 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Michael Foster Jr. also scored 18 and pulled down eight rebounds.
Louis King (16), Jaden Springer (14), Patrick McCaw (12), Justin Smith and Charlie Brown Jr. (10) rounded out the scoring for Delaware. Motor City got big nights from Buddy Boeheim and Jaylen Johnson, who poured in 28 and 24 points respectively. The Cruise shot 45% from three on the night, which saw 16 lead changes.
The Blue Coats stay at home this week, with the team's next game on Friday, February 24 in a rematch against Motor City. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. on DETV Channel 28 in Wilmington and Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS FM.
