Austin Spurs Acquire Kaleb Johnson

AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs today announced that they have acquired guard Kaleb Johnson.

Johnson, 6-6/205, most recently played for the Venezuela club team, Brillantes del Zulia, averaging 17.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.4 minutes of play. Prior to the Brillantes del Zulia, Johnson appeared in 23 games with Austin in 2021-22 averaging 6.1 points and 3.0 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game.

The South Hill, Va. native played in 124 games at Georgetown University where he averaged 4.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists.

Johnson will be available tonight as the Spurs take on the Santa Cruz Warriors at Kaiser Permanente Arena with a 9 p.m. tipoff.
