CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Chattanooga Lookouts at AT&T Field at 7:15 p.m.

Right-handed pitcher Robert Morey has been transferred from the Suns to Triple-A New Orleans. Morey with the Suns was 3-2 with a 5.09 ERA in 11 appearances and six starts.

In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Reid Redman has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Redman with Jupiter is 4-1 with a 2.22 ERA in 35 relief appearances and he was a Florida State League Midseason All-Star. Redman pitched in one game for the Suns earlier this season, tossing two and a third scoreless and hitless innings against Mississippi on May 3.

Additionally, infielder Viosergy Rosa has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Rosa has hit .291 with 13 home runs and 78 RBI in 116 games with the Hammerheads this season. This is the first call-up to Double-A in Rosa's career. Rosa was selected by the Marlins in the 29th round of the 2010 draft out of Odessa College.

The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

Tonight the Suns begin a five-game series against the Lookouts beginning at 7:15 p.m. ET. The Suns will start right-hander Jose Urena (10-7, 3.51) while the Lookouts will counter with a righty of their own in Andres Santiago (3-7, 4.72).
