January 8, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Manitoba Moose News Release

The Manitoba Moose will show their Olympic spirit when they host "Go Canada Night" on Saturday, January 16th when they face-off against the visiting Milwaukee Admirals at MTS Centre. Game time is 7:30 PM.

The Moose will sport their first alternate jersey of the season when they gear up in a replica jersey of the 1961 Trail Smoke Eaters. The bright red sweaters, featuring a blue maple leaf and blue lettering on the front, will be auctioned off on the concourse throughout the game that night and will later be sold on eBay.

One lucky fan in attendance will go home with a free trip for two to anywhere Air Canada flies in North America. Air Canada will serve as the game-sponsor that evening.

The night will also feature an array of giveaways from official Vancouver 2010 Red Olympic Mittens, Air Canada luggage tags and Wonder Bread, the official bread sponsor of the Olympic Games.

All video and score clock graphics will be converted to Team Canada colors to keep the theme alive throughout the night. Manitoba-born Olympian Michelle Sawatzky, who competed in women's volleyball in the 1996 Summer Olympics, will sing both anthems to kick off the night.
