B-Sens Assign Goaltender Andy Chiodo To Elmira; Sign Forward Max Gratchev

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today they have assigned goaltender Andy Chiodo to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL and signed forward Max Gratchev to a professional try-out contract.

Chiodo, 26, has appeared in sixteen games with the B-Sens. The Toronto native posted a 5-10-0 record, 3.07 goals-against average and a.910 save percentage. Chiodo also posted a shutout Nov. 26 versus Adirondack (a 7-0 Binghamton victory).

Gratchev, 21, has appeared in 29 games with the Elmira Jackals this season. He ranks third overall on the Jackals in scoring with 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points.

The Russian born left wing has appeared in four games with Binghamton this season, recording one goal, his first in the American Hockey League, Dec. 4 versus the Syracuse Crunch.

The Binghamton Senators host the Portland Pirates tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
